Volunteer Benefits Change

Thank you for stepping up and helping to make Disorient Presents: Country Club possible.

While creating this event for everyone to enjoy annually, we do not aim to profit from our endeavours, and any year that results in a surplus will see those funds either used to improve the event’s infrastructure, or distributed back into the community via art grants and project reimbursements. Maintaining this balance is essential to the event’s continuity. With this in mind, we’d like to present a change we’re making to compensation for volunteering at Country Club.

Beginning this year, we will no longer be issuing full ticket reimbursements after the event. Instead, those who volunteer at least six (6) hours will have the option of (A) guaranteed “Early Bird” ticket pricing the following year, good for any time during the sale window, or (B) for 2026 only, to help this transition, $50 cash-in-hand, before they leave the event.

As we all know, volunteering is the heart and life blood of these events. Everyone, including but not limited to, production crew, coordinators and theme camps, volunteer their time to make this event the best it can possibly be. Volunteering is an understood and expected part of the experience, following the principles of Gifting, Communal Effort, Civic Responsibility, and Participation.
